Accurate measurement over a wide range

Lidar Wind Measurement is a high-precision equipment that uses the Doppler effect and laser interference technology to measure wind within a range of 45 meters to 6,000 meters and 60 meters to 10 kilometers. Light detection and ranging lidars provide highly accurate and reliable data. Its wind direction accuracy is ±0.1m/s, the wind direction accuracy is less than 3°, and the efficiency is very high.

 

Remote transmission and monitoring
The device is equipped with remote transmission and monitoring capabilities, enabling users to remotely access and monitor radar units and critical data via TeamViewer software. You can then complete device operation and system management as if you were in the field.

 

Modular design

Lidar Wind Measurement's components are modular and can be easily built and initially tested before being transported to another site as needed. This design allows for both fixed and mobile measurements and this equipment can be used conveniently when you need to move it regularly.

 

Strong environmental adaptability

Our wind measurement equipment is made of anti-corrosion treated aluminum alloy and other materials, with a protection level of IP66, which can resist dust, debris, water vapor, snow, and ice. The system can work normally under temperature conditions of -40°C~60°C.

Is this measurement an Alternative to Met Tower?

 

LIDAR technology is a promising alternative for the measurement of winds, requiring less maintenance and lower costs than meteorological towers. With more and more verification campaigns have been done, the industry is getting to accept profiling LiDARs to replace meteorological tower-based wind speed measurement for wind energy applications.
