MAUSER’s reconditioning subsidiary, National Container Group (NCG) has acquired the majority shares of the Italian company Maider IBC, a reconditioner of IBCs.

MAUSER hopes to further strengthen its overall footprint and complete its Europe-wide presence, with the transaction, which is in line with the company's global sustainability initiative.

By acquiring a majority of the stake of Maider, MAUSER accelerates its overall carbon footprint reduction strategy and is able to better serve customers with sustainable packaging solutions in the region.

With the expansion of the NCG network in Europe, MAUSER significantly strengthens its market position and helps customers in Italy benefit from the possibility of combining economy with ecology.

Maider IBC founder and managing director Marca Carrara said the partnership enables them to provide customers comprehensive reconditioning services in combination with a bundled market expertise.
